Background
The inspiration for this Decade a Day comes from the Gospel of Luke, Chapter 10, verses 1-12.
In the story, Jesus instructs a number of His followers to preach the Gospel and heal the sick in the neighboring towns.

How to Pray
To get started, simply pray one decade of the Rosary – one Our Father, ten Hail Mary’s and one Glory Be. Click here to read the text for those prayers.
Intentions for This Decade
Feel free to add whatever personal intentions you have for yourself, your family and your friends.
You may also include a broader petition for greater progress in healing and evangelization, for instance:
- That there will be greater faith and action in sharing the Good News with those who don’t know about God’s love for them
- For healing of all types – physical, mental, emotional and spiritual for specific people or for those who have no one praying for them
- For greater peace among human beings, greater tolerance, respect and compassion for those who are left out.
- That the Kingdom of God will increase and grow into greater fullness now and in the future.
